Before meeting with Jan, I was almost sure that my time with her would lead to burdensome, heavy questions that I was already asking myself and being hard on myself about. But after setting some simple goals for our conversation and having her walk me through some reflections on my life story, among other good, easy-to-answer questions, I left the session feeling relaxed, capable, and with some new ideas and tools in my pocket. I was overwhelmed by my job and how many hours I was spending doing it.
